Update on my little "runt" pit bull... named "jazz?

UPDATE ON MY LITTLE "RUNT" PIT BULL... NAMED "JAZZ".... we are saddened by the departure of our little friend aged 5 wks... he was such a joy to us all... and he was a fighter... so loving... gave us kisses for all of our efforts.. he had just weaned himself off of the bottle and was eating out of a dish... he was very house broken... would let you know when he wanted to go... we took videos of his first steps and I missed one on his first bark... our little birdies really took to him.. and they were strangely quiet on his departure as well... he was such a little angel.. a real treasure... he was well loved.. and he really tried to hang on... we had a horrendous unexpected heat wave and even with the house temperature at a comfortable setting... he began seizures... before we could get him to the vet that day... he just gave up... my son did his best to revive him... and couldn't... so I just held him for two hours... in his favorite blanket... he was put to rest last night with his favorite teddy and bottle... he is sorely missed ;-( Asked by CALIDEE_MOO! 43 months ago Similar questions: UPDATE RUNT PIT BULL NAMED JAZZ Pets > Dogs.

It is so sad to lose a beloved pet........ There are really no word to console you. I can say that you gave him the best care that you possibly could have. You made his short little life like heaven on earth.

Heaven is where he will be now and he will be running and jumping in the meadow. I can say that you did you need to praise yourself for all that you did and for being such an animal lover. None of these things take the pain away.

Only time will make it lessen. The new dogs or other dogs in your life will occupy your time and help you to think about your beloved pet a little less each day. I can’t take your pain subside.

You just have to think of him and smile for what a great little fighter he was. No, nothing will make your days easier right now. It will take time and I’m sure you will never forget him.

That is okay and it is a good thing to remember our pets that we loved. Happy memories help us in the hard times. I am so sorry for your loss you brought tears to my eyes reading about your puppy. I too have a Pit Bull, he is 4 yrs old and I would be devastated if anything happened to him. We lost our last Pit Bull to seizures, which the doc.

Put him on anti-seizure meds but didn't work. He still had them so we made the appointment to have him put to sleep. My husband cried for 2 days and mourned for 3 years until we finally found this wonderful dog.

Oh dear. And not to make fun, but will you allow my parallel story? At the start of last year, a man I'd known for 20-odd years whose name was Jas - and who had the temperament of a pit bull - renewed his addresses to me.

Basically, when we first met there was a strong attraction (not so much physical as intellectual and admiring each other's courage) but it could have developed into the other thing had he not been married, so that was off the agenda - though he did cast longing eyes upon me. Anyway, when he reappeared 18 months ago he was now without wife, and so we allowed ourselves to get closer and more personal - although he's the other side the world. This little bear was very happy about that.

Then just before Christmas, he dropped me - pretty brutally. (When you do something wrong, you tend to do it badly. He was in AA; someone had told him 'no new relationships in the first two years;' and I didn't have the nous to say Look, you silly bugger, we've known each other for twenty years.).

So, forgive me, but when I read about a little runt pit bull named Jazz suffering a misfortune, I'm afraid that the first thoughts that came into my head lacked all charity and compassion. I do apologise..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
