US citizen marrying UK citizen in Canada?

You are British by descent if your mother was born in the UK and are therefore automatically a citizen and can apply for a British passport. That's the easiest and quickest route to sort out any confusion over your nationality.

The letter from your father to the US consulate relates to custody issues, it has nothing to do with citizenship or your legal status in the UK. Your mother must have looked into your legal status in the UK before she brought you to the UK because if you weren't entitled to British citzienship by descent, you would have needed a visa to live in the UK even as a child and later on to work. If your mother is a British citizen, born in the UK, then you are a British citizen by descent - you can apply for a British passport to prove your citizenship.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
