Given the two I think I would have to take werewolf (there wolf...there castle). Vampires are cool but they do need to feast on other people and they have that whole sun thing going on. I'm not really into bursting into flames in the event that I forget to check the time after a night out feeding on the town.

Besides that, technically you are dead. Now that's all fine and good if you happen to be turned when looking good but what about if you get turned later in life or too early (like that poor Kirsten Dunst character in that one vampire movie - uhh the one with Angie's boyfriend and the cult religion fanatic). So werewolves really have a pretty good deal: super strength, longevity, pack culture that supports one another (Vampires are really more of a follow me or I keeel you type of creature).

The only down side is once a month, they turn into a cool dog, though the transformation looks somewhat painful - not to mention the clothing bill. As it turns out now, I already turn into a bit of a monster once a month, so really the werewolf transformation doesn't really seem that bad in comparison. My family might even prefer that monster to the one that visits here.

In comparison, vampires are always dead but werewolves can lead a relatively normal life.

I would say werewolf. Human interaction is important to me, as if I were a vampire, my throat would yearn from their blood. It seems like it would be a lonely existence, Werewolves travel in packs, and have a sense of family.

Whereas vampires, while they can for a clan, are also commonly loners. Vampires are not a part of human society in the fact that they pose such a danger. Werewolves live and protect humans, much more my personality.

Not fond of blood, would prefer to eat like nobody's business and still look buff! There are many more reasons, but most importantly, I think werewolves are cuter than vampires myself!

I would join the vampires, given the choice. I would want to be a sparkly non-sun-fearing Stephanie Meyer vampire though, not a sulky sun-fearing Anne Rice vampire. I sometimes wonder who would win, in a fight between LeStat and Edward Cullen.

In any case, while watching such a fight I would rather be a relatively indestructible vampire than a smelly pesky werewolf. Accidents happen.

Vampire. I do not want to be hairy. The thoughts of that creep me out.

Well there are the cursed and the "cursed". I would choose vampire in both cases but the reasons why are very different. Cursed: Tortured souls common in myth and legend.

Truly cursed vampires. These vampires burst into flames when licked by sunlight they drain people to death. They are pallid and often grotesque looking.

Truly cursed werewolves. These pathetic beings live in fear, often not knowing what is happening when they wake up after a full moon covered in gore. Unable to control their inner beast no one they care about is safe.

I would rather be a vampire here. Vampires have a nightmarish existence, but may at least be able to retain some ability to choose how and when they feed. "cursed": Lucky beings with great superpowers who mope around like they are cursed.

Common in movies, some role playing games*, and Young Adult novels. "Cursed" Vampires have super speed, strength, hypnosis, and are nearly impervious to death. Sunlight is irritating, perhaps I would sparkle like a Twilight vamp or perhaps I would just need to wear long sleeves and shades in the sun.

They have lean attractive good looks that the opposite sex finds irresistible. In some cases when they turn other people into vampires these vampire spawn are willing and eager servants. Feeding on a person makes them feel great and it never kills them unless the vampire wants it to.

They can fly by turning into mist or a bat form. They are nearly impossible to kill. "Cursed" Werewolves can shift forms in the blink of an eye or morph slowly for dramatic effect.

They have spectacular strength and speed. They have strong rugged good looks. They can turn to wolves.

They are nearly impossible to kill. It would be fantastic to be a "Cursed" vampire! Flight, Immortality, a small army of loyal servants.

It's good to be the vampire!

I would have to choose being a werewolf. I've had an unreasonable fear of werewolves since I was very young; I'm not sure where it came from but I often had nightmares about them. Maybe if I were a werewolf, I could get inside their head and understand where they're coming from, and maybe they wouldn't bother me so much.

Even now, I can hardly bear to watch shows or movies with werewolves in them. Vampires don't bother me so much for some reason, maybe because they are more human-like, but I'm not into zombies at all. Another thing that creeps me out are dismembered hands that come after you.

I remember watching "Dark Shadows" with my sitter's older daughter when I was young, and the dismembered hand that floated around (I forget what it was called) scared me to death. Maybe that's also where I got my fear of werewolves, although I don't remember them from Dark Shadows. I was still pretty young at that time.

Well, after pondering over this I have come to the conclusion that I would rather be a vampire. The way I see it being away from the sun would do wonders for my skin. Blood, high in proteins while being low in fat, would definitely do wonders for my waist line.

The only draw back would be the fangs. I'd hate to see all the money my parents spent on my orthodontic braces go to waist; but, oh well. Being a werewolf is completely discarded for me.

Just to think about the fleas, worms and the modifications that I would have to make to my personal grooming and hygiene habits make it completely unworkable.

If you can't tell by my name LOL I would choose werewolf. They can go out in the sunlight and are more human than vampires. Also, you get to eat real food!

I'm not sure I could get used to the whole blood thing.

I prefer a werewolf, but given a choice I'd choose a hybrid as found on Crimson Moon. cmrpg.net.

Hmm.. Let's see. Vampire: a sexual magnet to their food, I mean opposite sex. Beautiful and immortal.

Can turn into a bat and fly. Hypnotizing, seductive. Werewolf: experiencing terrible pain each month to turn ugly vicious furry creature.

I don't think there is a competition there. But then, when I think about it, perhaps we have some werewolf in all of us. Monthly painful transformation, emotional, people run when they see you, and you feel yourself very blood thirsty.

Sounds familiar? I wonder if the myth of werewolf was based on the author's wife or something.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
