Vermilion is no longer a colour in Artists’ Oil Colour because it can be ‘mixed by the artist’. What colours should I use to achieve this?

The nearest colour mix to achieve Vermilion is a mix of Cadmium Red, Cadmium Red Deep and Titanium White. Cadmium Red is the closest match, so add very small amounts of Cadmium Red Deep and even smaller amounts of Titanium White. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
