So far the guidebooks have pretty much covered all that there is to see in Bangkok. But there might be plenty of off the beaten path sites to be discovered now that Bangkok's train systems are expanding further across the Chao Praya River. Though I recommend having a walk about in Bangkok's Chinatown which I wrote a hub here edwin-clark.hubpages.com/hub/Bangkoks-Ch... weather is still hot, humid and rainy so make sure you carry extra t-shirt, small towel, umbrella and drink plenty of water.
Must visit to Lumpini and Santichaiprakarn Parks that will sure to impress you with their scenic beauty and charm.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
