Visual Studio: How to open file from Windows command line to specific line in running instance of VS?

If you can upgrade to VS2008 SP1, then Fouré Olivier's answer should work to open a file in an existing instance of Visual Studio.

If you can upgrade to VS2008 SP1, then Fouré Olivier's answer should work to open a file in an existing instance of Visual Studio: devenv /edit FILE_PATH For other solutions similar to the answer you linked to, there's a similar perl script here and a python plugin here (see dte_put_file). Both are for use with vim, but you could fix them up to work for anything. (I haven't used either of them.).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
