Warren G. Harding, 29th Pres of the US. His love letters are under court seal until 2023. What would you have asked this interesting man?

He was an interesting character! And he was President during such a time of turmoil and upheaval - it's no wonder he campaigned on promises of "return to normalcy"....which, by the way, was a word he made up. Harding liked to make up a lot of words and wasn't terribly bright.Hrm.

Oh well, here's what I would ask this president: 1. ) What do you think of former Vice President Dick Cheney's actions during the Iraq War? Should he have been prosecuted?

I think, of course, this is a singularly interesting question for Pres. Harding since his Secretary of the Interior was the first member of the Presidential Cabinet ever to serve jail time (for the Teapot Dome scandal, not terribly dissimilar to some of the Haliburton controversies of late).2. ) Were you really poisoned?

What circumstances led to your death? Did your wife have anything to do with it? I suspect poison.

Especially with his known dalliances with Carrie Fulton Phillips. And several other women. In the White House.Yikes.

.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
