Was Anne Hathaway a good call as Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises? Who would you have picked instead?

Absolutely no way.. she is good for soft romantic roles..i dint even like her in the movie "get smart" she doesn't have the strong look or the personality to carry it off.. I would prefer Megan fox...she would surely do it justice.. loved her in the movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen..she carried off a strong bitchy personality.. plus she is absolutely gorgeous..

Don't bother. Julie Newmar played Catwoman on the Batman T V show in the 60s. Several other actresses have play this role and every one of them has been a big dissapointment to everyone who saw Newmar do this role.At this point in her carreer Hathaway should be doing parts that prove she is a good actress.

Personally, I do not think Anne Hathaway has what it takes to play Catwoman. Catwoman is supposed by sexy, fiesty, a proweres. Anne Hathaway just doesn't have it in her, her voice isn't even right for the part.

Its too high, she can't get the low, tempting, seducing tone that a character like this needs. Whenever I think of Anne Hathaway, I think of her in movies like Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada. A goofy, comical character she is, sexy catwoman, she's not.

There is no way she can pull off what Halle Berry did as catwoman, and that's the latest thing we have to compare to. They needed to get someone who can play a roll like that, and I really don't think she can. I hope she surprises me, but I kind of think it will ruin the movie if she fails to achieve what is desired from the role.

I'm not saying I want Megan Fox or Angelina Jolie to play the role, but either of them would have been a much better choice. At least, in the qualities needed in Catwoman. I think someone like Kate Beckinsale, Natalie Portman, or even Mila Kunis would be good.

They've played the dark roles, and have the capability to be what is needed. Also, they are huge right now, and have bigger followings than Anne Hathaway, so you would get an even bigger box office draw!

Catwoman's greatest quality is her ability to keep Batman on his toes. The World's Greatest Detective is a super genius in his own right and who is more stoic than Batman? Selina Kyle is a devious, sexy, fun, and clever character.

If Nolan and co. Have written a good Catwoman and they feel Anne Hathaway can fill that role, I believe she can do it. Though the female characters in the Batman series so far has seriously been lacking in depth and interest.

Hopefully Hathaway and Catwoman can fix that trend. Nothing better than an awesome femme fatale that could keep the audience and Batman on the edge of their seats.

I trust Nolan and crew, and just because an actor hasn't acted in a similar role in previous outings doesn't mean that they don't have the capability to do so. Hollywood has a tendency to pigeonhole actors into tiny silos if they want the security of financial success. I'm willing to give her and the team the benefit of the doubt.

Anything is better than Halle Berry's tragedy of a film in Catwoman Plus she's been playing against type with roles in Love & Other Drugs and Rachel getting Married. She's got chops & she's not hard on the eyes either.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
