Was Blanca Luna's death ever solved?

As of the moment, it has not been resolved. Blanca Luna's mother, Gloria Barros is still talking with her lawyer to weigh what are the options. She believes that the death is not suicide but homicide.

----quote--- Gloria Barrios says she doesn't want money—she wants answers from military officials, and she wants them to classify Luna's death a homicide and find the culprit. ---end of quote--- Blanca Luna.

Blanca Cecilia Luna (born February 26, 1983) better known plainly as Blanca Luna, is a professional female boxer. She is from Las Vegas, Nevada. Luna began her professional boxing career on October 4, 2002, beating Jessica Mohs by a four round decision in Laughlin, Nevada.

Mohs had ten fights by the time she lost to Luna. Luna followed her first win in women's boxing with a defeat of Jennifer Howe on November 8, at Salt Lake City, Utah. Next for Luna was another fight against a vastly experienced opponent, as Layla McCarter had 23 fights compared to Luna's two fights when they met, on December 6.

Luna suffered her first career loss, being dealt a four round majority decision defeat by McCarter, in Laughlin. During her first year as a boxer, Luna had three fights against opponents that, combined, had a total of 33 fights, or eleven fights per opponent, compared to her three fights as a professional boxer. The exception to the rule among those opponents was Howe, who was making her own debut when she lost to Luna.

The fact that Luna faced Mohs and McCarter, who, combined, averaged 16 and a half fights against Luna's relative inexperience, on her very first year as a boxer, might underline a problem in women's boxing in that many times, young, new women fighters are put against more seasoned opponents, potentially putting the younger boxer's life at risk. On April 4, 2003, she defeated Mohs in a rematch. Once again held in Laughlin.

On May 7, she met Jaqueline Nava, in what represented Luna's Las Vegas debut. She defeated Nava by a four round decision. Luna fought outside Nevada for only the second time in her career on November 2, being defeated on points after six rounds by Lisa Lewis, in Lemoore, California.

Luna and Mohr met for a third time on November 6, at the Celebrity Theater, a popular Phoenix, Arizona venue that has hosted fights by Yori Boy Campas and Jorge Páez and musical concerts by Aaron Carter, Patty Loveless, among others. The third time around, Luna and Mohr fought to a four round draw (tie). Luna boxed Kara Ro on March 6, 2004 at Laughin, losing a six round unanimous decision.

A fact of note is that, so far, none of Luna's bouts have ended by knockout. Luna has a record of 4 wins, 3 losses and one draw.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
