0bama made a reference to terrorism in general but did not recognize the attack on the embassy as terrorism.
On September 12, the day after the attack at Benghazi, President Obama said in the Rose Garden: "No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."
On September "No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America." The matter is still under investigation. Romney was trying to say that President Obama never said that. Romney was wrong.
Romney's characterization of the administration's general description of the attack may have some merit but the attack had only just happened and was being investigated. How does Romney's point in attacking the administration help us here?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
