Was George LeMieux a good choice to replace Mel Martinez?
I was good choice for Florida Governor Charlie Crist..being a crony of Crist the guy will just step asside when Charlie runs for the seat himself. The up side to this is that Crist needs to appoint someone that does a good job...if he doesn't Governor Crist's chances of winning the seat in an election could be hampered by making a convenient ,yet, incompetent appointment.
Charlie Crist, in my humble opinion, is no better than a used car salesman. He appointed LeMieux for his own political expediency. We need Jeb or his equivilent, back badly.

In naming Lemieux, 40, for the rare Senate appointment, Crist chose his closest and most loyal adviser and political guru. Lemieux ran Crist's 2006 campaign for governor -- earning the nickname "maestro" from the governor -- and later served as his chief of staff. Before that, LeMieux was Florida's deputy attorney general under Crist from 2003-2007.
At a press conference at the old state capitol in Tallahassee, Crist said he settled on picking Lemieux Thursday night, discarding other contenders with far lengthy political resumes. The governor is running for the same Senate seat in 2010, so Lemieux's tenure will be short-lived. "This is chosing a man that has incredible integrity, great intellect, tremendous heart, who I have enormous trust and confidence in," Crist said.
"I know what kind of public servant he has been and will be.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
