As long as you told the current girlfriend about her and your plans for lunch and the current girlfriend was ok with it. Personally I would leave the past in the past and would of just taken the current girlfriend to lunch instead.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
