Was Journey's pre-game Super Bowl performance any good without original singer Steve Perry?

I have been a big fan of the new singer since I learned he got the job after they saw his performance in a video on YouTube. youtube.com/watch?v=89_2UivtEhs And I love their new song "After all These Years" youtube.com/watch?v=biwf75wgLoc.

While their performance was OK, Journey will never be Journey again without Steve Perry. I think he made that band!

Arnel Pineda is a very good singer, and sings the classic Journey tunes with little variance form the originals. But, without Steve Perry Journey is just a cover band with a great guitarist. Kinda like H2O missing on atom of Hydrogen...the whole thing just falls apart.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
