The teasers and promos called this the season finale, so we can expect to see what happens to House, and to the others, in a few months when the next season begins. Also, Wikipedia states that the next season is scheduled to begin airing in September of this year. So, yes, there's more to the story.
I don't know if House will be able to continue practicing medicine after...stuff (trying to avoid spoilers here). However, he's been able to do all sorts of things that are absolutely ridiculous in real life, which is why this show is so entertaining. If he were a real doctor, though, he probably wouldn't be able to get malpractice insurance from any provider in the world, though, considering that he's perfectly okay with doing some insane things to patients.
I think that House will find a way to continue practicing. Maybe he'll go right back to doing what he was doing before the season finale. Maybe he'll take on an advisory or teaching role.(Scary thought: what if being committed changes him to the point where he actually likes the idea of lecturing?
That could be weird. ) Or maybe he won't practice medicine anymore, but find something that satisfies his innate need to solve complicated puzzles. Who knows?
The show's writers have done some unexpected things, especially this season, so I'm looking forward to seeing how next season's premiere works out.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
