15 months old is really too young for a pet. At that age they do not understand how to treat and animal and are not capable of empathy. As lee custodio says, a goldfish would be a good choice.
Maybe you could opt to have a goldfish instead for a pet. Fun and relaxing to look at and it comes with a protective bowl or aquarium. :).
At a toddler age, I would only suggest a dog or cat that you will be willing and plan on caring for. Any pet that you get your daughter will need to be cared for by you. No reptile or small animal can really take too much rough housing, not even the kid friendly guinea pig or pet rat.
I'd have to agree with the other responses here -- though goldfish should never be put in a bowl, they need a lot more room than that. Another option is to set up a terrarium and catch or buy bugs for her to watch and learn about. As she gets older and learns how to properly handle and take care of a pet, rats are excellent, even-tempered pets that are usually mellow enough to be around kids.
I would recommend no kids younger than three, though, and then only if they have learned that it is NOT okay to rough-house with a pet of any kind.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
