I believe that we evolved and that there was no Adam and Eve, because if you really think about it Adam and Eve where the only people at the time so they made a couple of babies well if there were no other people except for Adam and Eve and their babies, then their babies would have had to "mate" with each other inorder to keep the human race alive and well you can see just how gross that thought is...so evolution seems to be the correct way to becasue another issue is that you wouldnt have different races or nationalitys if there were only 2 people who started on earth.
Well, if you accept Adam and Eve as the first people, then you must believe that they were created by god, not evolved from apes. If you accept evolution, then there was no Adam/Eve as the bible reads. Yes, there was a first homo sapien male and female, who evolved from an primate ancestor millions of years ago.
There is a school of thought, the intelligent design idea, that god used evolution to bring forth man, but of course that has no basis in biblical scholarship, and is really just intended as a compromise.
Actually both questions about apes/evol and Adam-Eve/creation are in the same category...they are both historical questions that cannot be proven by empirical means...both concepts evolve from the assumptions the researcher begins with...both express faith in the assumptions as being correct...
Your question doesn't make much sense, because it combines two completely different theories about where we came from. The first one is the scientific theory of evolution, which states that we have evolved from something else (apes for example). The second one is the religious teachings (Christianity in this case) that God created the human race and the first two people were Adam and Eve.No one can answer your question because it combines the two completely opposite theories.
I personally do not believe in evolution so for me to say that Adam and Eve were is going against what my God Creation beliefs are. I take the stand on creation vs. evolution, so I guess its a matter of what you believe in order to answer your question properly.
.. its sounds kinda phony to me .. but if you look at the type of conditions that have to be set for life to take place on a planet .. there must be a god to make that happen .. Earth has to be just far enough away from the sun .. there has to be a Jupiter like planet to keep the big asteroids away . There also has to be a moon to control the tides and such .. you have to have all these things to have life. Because God made these perfect conditions for us life sprouted and we evolved from single celled organisms and over millions of years we lost our gills .. sprouted legs and arms .. adapted to the changing world by walking up right .. even our finger and toe nails are proof that we evolved .. even if some scientists don't believe that we evolved from other creatures .. other scientists are continuly finding skulls and other bones of another connection between us and our ape like ancestors .. they are even looking at the possibility that some dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds!
So Im not sure what everyone else thinks but I belive that we slowly adapted to the ever changing world .. not that we magically poofed out from no where and women were made from one of my ribs. I believe in evolution and I believe the bible. First of all I believe people evolved from ape but I also believe that Adam and Eve where the first true intelegant people and I feel they where the first people that were smart enough to astablish a writing system and write and keep track of there history.
There had to have been more than just the two of them because if so we would all be cousins and people frown on that. .. If God is all so mighty and powerful them maby he created evolution and gave us the intelegance to see that there is evolution and warship him aswell.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
