Yes, it was a Chinese festival, called Dragon Boat Festival.

The festival celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar on which the Chinese calendar is based.

In that day, people will eat Zongzi, drink realgar wine and race dragon boats.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
