Tranny It could be your transmission or the torque converter lock shifting in and out of top gear. When it happens, try moving your pernundull from D down a notch to D3 and see if that makes the jerking go away.

Lw2009 replied to post #1: 2 It is like a jerking motion where the truck gets sucked backwards and then forwards. We thought it happened when the road was bumpy but we notice it more on flat roads.

4 It is pretty common with lightweight tow vehicles, and when the trailer tends to bounce as it travels. Many trailers are built with just springs and not shock absorbers, so they tend to have a bouncier ride than passenger vehicles. The effect of this is that the drag increases and decreases as the trailer "bounces" this works out to a "pull and release" feeling in the seat of the pants.

Also, if the trailer tends to be extremely nose heavy, it can affect the handling of the tow vehicle. With a heavy trailer, there is less bounce, and if your tow vehicle outweighs your trailer by a considerable margin, the trailer can't affect it as much. If it affects the controllability fo the tow vehicle, then things need to change - less weight, and/or better balance in the trailer, more weight in the tow vehicle.(example: I have a camping trailer that I alternately tow with a Jeep CJ-7 (4000#) and a Chevy 1/2 ton pickup (6000#) and my service truck (12,000#) I can definitely feel it bouncing around behind the Jeep, I am aware of it behind the 1/2 ton, and have to check my mirrors to make sure it's still there behind the service truck.)as for noticing it more on flat roads, it is probably just that.

It is more pronounced on bumpy roads, but it gets lost in the Frontier bouncing on the bumps. If it doesn't affect the handling, redistributing weight might reduce it more, but it may never go away completely..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
