We have been dating a month, but he never calls during the week and rarely texts. But on the weekend he wants to see me. He only texts before the weekend to set up a date.

He also mentioned he wants to take things slowly, but he has no problem with kissing at the end of the dates. But completely ignores me during the week. What am I to do?

Sounds like he gets lonely or bored when he's not working. A month is not all that long but if it continues are you're interested in a deeper relationship, I'd let him know you're looking for more than just a buddy on the weekends. No use getting invested in someone with different priorities.

Hmmm very suspicious, first guess is he's hiding something, like a second girlfriend or even a wife.

I doubt he has a wife or a girlfriend, because then he wouldn't be able to spend (usually) two entire afternoons and evenings without getting in trouble. I asked if he was seeing someone else, and he said no. I understand he works 10 hrs/day during the week, but am I asking for too much if I want him to call once in a while?

It does, it certainly does. Otherwise I wouldn't ask. I have called him a few times, but he sounds distant.

I am guessing he doesn't like the phone conversations. But I don't want to resort to texting everytime we have to talk when we are not around. Texting can often mislead people and even lead to arguments.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
