We just got a golden retriever puppy and now have the opportunity to get her mother as well. Easier or harder? My husband thinks it will just be more work.
I think it will make life easier so she doesn't do all the barking and whining if we are not there, at night, and when she is not played with. My son had a hard time choosing between the mom and the puppy when we went to the breeder to meet them. He finally chose the puppy, but he is sort of scared of her since she bites so much - we are working on that.
Both my son and I have fallen for the mother as well- and I know the puppy will get better. Asked by MensaMind 4 months ago Similar questions: golden retriever puppy opportunity mother Easier harder Pets > Dogs.

Okay, so it costs bit more to feed them and vet bills, a little more poop to clean up, but I really think the benefits outweigh the negatives.
I agree with Trek, I think it's cruel to have one lone pet.
One lone pet. " My wife bought a Rottweiller. Later, we adopted a rescue dog (technically for my youngest daughter, but oh well.) So there's a pet to keep the other pet "company," except it can't stand being with that other pet and runs to hide every time it comes inside.
That "company" thing doesn't always work.
Well, two dogs is twice the work, and if the puppy is a male you will have to have him spayed or he will try to mount the female in time (not knowing that's his mother). We only know that distinction. Taking that into consideration, it could be fun.
They will have different needs. You will need different food--one for an adult, one for a growing dog. The mother will need more exercise--do you have a yard?
If you walk her, you could get the puppy into the habit also. It might be a good way to teach him to go to the bathroom outside. Is the mother housebroken?
If you are willing to do a little extra work in the beginning, it could be company for the puppy and a learning tool for your son. Puppies are teething; that's why he's biting. Get him some chew toys to exercise his teeth and start saying "No" when he bites.
Have fun with it; they will be company for each other.
He is in a crate. Any ideas?" ""It's all downhill from here! " Is it getting easier or harder?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
