Full of Ideas** I'm not sure which interfaith Easter celebrations you are marrying, but here are some of my families fun... Usually the Easter Bunny left a note under my kids pillows...saying she hoped they found all eight each of the eggs and to remember to share. Sharing was big in our house... So the kids woke up and read their notes... Then they saw the bunny tracks all over the house...from the front door or window all around with bits of candy like candy kisses here and there beside the tracks. The paw prints are made by putting a little baby powder down, and using your fingers to make the prints it vacuums up easily...the tracks lead them all over, into closets, behind couches, etc...they put them in their new baskets from last year.
Then they are lead to their NEW baskets which have the candy and maybe a stuffed animal in it! THEN they can wake us up and show us their stuff, but we usually get up and follow them around cause it's so much fun to watch. Then we all sit down and get out our 'giving basket.' One I got extra at the store.
It shouldn't look like the others. And the kids and I decide which eggs and candy we'll 'share, ' and who we'll share it with. One time we lived in Germany and the kids wanted to give it to a soldier who was nice to them, lived in the barracks, and didn't have kids.
Another time they chose an elderly neighbor woman who lived beside us. They said the bunny probably hadn't visited her in a long time... They were right. We tried to introduce sharing and caring with all our holidays.
Most of just ENJOY them! The kids, oh and the eggs and candy too;-) Sources: Me, Myself, and Spouse .
I always loved doing any kind of special activety with mom and dad My favorite thing at any holiday when I was little was to do any kind of craft or cooking that we all did together. My mom has a huge collection of cookie cutters and we made cookie for most holidays. In the spring we would use all the animal and flower shapes then after the cookies were baked we would decorate them.
This website has lots of ideas for crafts, cooking, activities, and outdoor fun for young kids and parents. Most of the projects are things that are great to do together. kiddley.com/ They haven't posted anything new in awhile but the archive is great!

Nice early dinner with friends We had a really nice Easter Celebration this year. We went to our friends house in the early afternoon for dinner. We have children who are the same ages so they played all day.
Our friends are religious and we are not but that really didn't enter into it-we were just sharing a meal together. Our families all live far away and its too hard to travel with small children. I cooked a few things and brought them so she would not have to do all of the work.
If something like that sounds fun, ask around next year and see if anyone else is too far from their families. We really had a nice time.
Those of you who have small children, what does the Easter Bunny.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
