Were men more happy when gender roles and identity was more clearly defined? Are men today lost?

Erm barely anybody has a chef or a maid in the US... Anyway, I believe in some form of gender roles but I don't like the strict traditional type that existed before, mainly because I don't want to financially support another adult. I don't care how much I love a woman, I'm not going to pay for her for the rest of her life. She has to have a job and contribute to the family and household otherwise I won't be interested in her.

Not many men can afford to just have a housewife lazing around. Cooking and cleaning can be shared, I guess.

Who cares what men are happy about. Every person differs, so yeah maybe some women prefer it, while other women prefer the more traditional role of wife.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
