Were most of you athiests from christian/religious based families?

Sorry to tell you but you are legally under the control of your parents until age 18. Religion is not insanity - it is faith. Your problem seems to be you have a rebellious streak that causes you to resent your family.

Even if there were not Christian, there would most likely be something else about them you would pick on to quarrel about. Like many 14 year old's you have an arrogant "I know best" attitude that will eventually get you in conflict with authorities and the police, because even these days, society expects a child to respect his/her parents. Any therapist you visit would most likely diagnoze you as "attention seeking.

If they become physically abusive to you or anyone else you can report them to the police. Not much else you can do until you're 18. Stick it out.

You know you don't believe. They can't force you to believe anything. They can't know you don't believe unless you tell them.

Stick in there.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
