Wow, only 14 and realizing this. There might just be hope for our future. LOL.
Well, I'm in my 20s but I couldn't understand my peers when I was in high school either. It was strange watching them repeat the same mistakes over and over again thinking to myself, "They must know they will only get negatives from carrying out such stupidity, never failed". It was like watching the Wile E.
Coyote fail over and over again trying to catch that road runner. They always managed to fall off the cliff. LOL.
Strange analogy but you get the idea.
I'm in the same predicament you are, except I'm 15 now. The way I see the world, we're just going to have to ride it out. Eventually, the present fads and the like will die, and what will be left is timeless.
There will be a few people on your present level, but they're rare and fare between. You'll feel more among your peers if you hang out with people a year or two years older than you. At least that's what I found.
Take more advanced classes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
