What alternative treatments do you recommend for arthritis-related joint pain?

Certified, Refined Emu Oil. See my source for research on healing properties of emu oil and arthritic pain.

You can try physical therapy. Although I don't have arthritis myself I have a lot of friends and relatives who suffer from it. The best option for you would be to take therapy from a certified therapist.

You can also try exercise to ease the pain. If the pain is too much, try consulting an orthopaedic specialist.

I suppose I will not provide the answer you expect, as I am not going to recommend a rub-on. I am going to tell you about a traditional Native treatment for your condition. A warm soak in a tub of Cedar tea.

Cedar is cleansing (purifying) agent, and a healing, protective agent. A person of Native Heritage will go out and find a source of cedar (White Cedar = Arborvitae, Red Cedar = Juniper) and, after leaving an offering of tobacco near the tree, pick fronds from the tree and break them into small pieces. These small bits can be used as a smudge.

Place them in a shallow ceramic bowl (an abalone shell with a layer if sand in the bottom is traditional), light them on fire and waft the smoke over and around the joints affected. But better still, brew up a quart of strong cedar tea, and pour it into bathtub full of warm water. Soak in this 3 times a week until you see improvement, then once a week, or as needed afterward.

You might also keep a bit of cedar in your shoe every day as you go through your normal activities. I have found this to be a good remedy, along with a low sugar diet free of anything to do with cows and especially swine. I can touch my toes and type many long hours now.

I am 60. I wish you the best of health.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
