3 Mostimaginative, if that's all there is under policies, I would interpret that to mean responders could be liable for damages caused by info in their posts. Whenever I've answered medical, legal, or financial and similar advice types of posts, I always preface them by saying "I'm not an expert but...." and recommend they consult an expert before acting. This is weasel language I learned from our corporate law department when I used to have to interact with parties who might try to pin our company down at a later date.

I'm not an expert but.... this is something you might do with your posts if you're concerned. You also might want to check with an expert. ;-) .

4 At the end of the section QUESTIONS, ANSWERS, AND OTHER CONTENT, the TOS says, "Askville does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any of the answers that are provided in response to your questions, and we make no representations or warranties of any kind about these answers. " Then, in the section DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, it says you expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk. There's a lot more there, including some exclusions due to state law.My guess is Askville/Amazon has a cautious legal department that has done as much CYA (ours and theirs) as possible.

5 That's good. That makes me feel better. But I think I'll still use my disclaimer if it seems appropriate.
