What are CCDS’s plans for using the Windows 7 operating system?

CCDS began deploying Windows 7 shortly after its release to manufacturing in the summer of 2009. Our experience during the 2009-10 academic year has been very favorable. Compared to its predecessor Windows XP, we have found Windows 7 to be more user friendly, more stable, and more secure.

We will continue to use Windows 7 during the upcoming 2010-11 academic year, and expect that Windows XP will disappear from use at CCDS over the next several months. On the new Portege M780 we plan to deploy the 64-bit edition of Windows 7, having used the 32-bit edition previously. 64-bit operating systems are known to offer modest performance gains over their 32-bit siblings.

We will offer 64-bit Windows 7 images for the M750 and M700 as well. Note that the M400 has a 32-bit CPU and so does not support 64-bit Windows 7. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
