What are some cheap and easy, but still good looking houseplants?

Pothos is very popular and easy to grow, and does well in low light. (photo 1) You can usually find someone with a spider plant who is willing to give you a baby, but if not, they are inexpensive as well. Buy it small, and grow it out into a larger plant.(photo 2) There are all sorts of philodendrons (photo 3) that do really well in low light, from large plants to small vines.

All of these can be found in small pots at big box stores. Anything there that is growing in the shade (usually near the orchids) is suitable for growing indoors. Being tropicals, they grow pretty quickly too.

The croton is very easy to care for and looks great. Prune dead leaves, water heavily, and that's it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
