I'll have to go with fight club on this one. Although, both are classic films, I think fight club has the edge. I think the characters from both films are really well developed, but I think fight club does a better job with the storyline and imagery.
Pitt and norton both really knock your socks off in this film. The chemistry is great. It is also great with travolta and jackson, but pitt and norton just seem to hold my interest better.
The story teaches us how American culture in so many ways, has become exactly the way they say it has. We allow ourselves to get taken in to the idea that our home must look like an Ikea museum and that enough isnt enough. Fight club forces you to look at yourself as well as the world around you.
It orces you to be honest. BQ:for this, I would say the characters from fight club have it over pulp fiction. Everyone from pitt and norton, down to jared leto, meatloaf, and helena bonham carter.
Bq2:films on my watchlist are "blue valentine" starring ryan gosling and michelle williams. Also, horrible bosses. Just a sidenote-if you get a chance, see"all good things", a true story starring ryan gosling and kirsten dunst.
Loved it. Also, see "black swan", if you havent yet.
Pulp Fiction. I do really like Fight Club as well, but Pulp Fiction is just more enjoyable. BQ: Pulp Fiction although Fight Club is a very worthy second place.
Good comparison Madeleine! I think there's more a range of cool, interesting characters in Pulp Fiction though. And their fate seems happier than some of the Fight Club crew.
BQ2: You mean what do I want to watch? Hmmm.....The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and Jackass 3.5. Can't think of anything else right now!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
