Go cultural - avoiding strippers of course. Get off for an overnight stay somewhere that's not just a great place to go out but a great day out also. As an example - hitting a major city that's got more going for it than a string of great bars and clubs.
Go-karting. A fab way to spend time and always best when done with a group of friends. Paintballing - awesome fun and nothing wrong with rounding off a days play with a trip to a fantastic restaurant.
A day at the races - hugely entertaining and brings out the masculine competitive streak. What about something like a group lesson in a super car or similar? Tank, flight simulator, speed boat - that kind of thing?
Um ... a poker night. Great game, more than just a silly game of cards and anyone can learn the game in a short space of time. One that's free (and probably fantastic fun if you can pull it off) is to stage a Flashmob event somewhere local yet extremely public.
Will need some though and organization but a bit of thought could give all involved an experience to remember.
I always thought bachelor parties were a send off from single - to marriedhood. It doesn't have to be strippers, I know a lot of guys who'd much rather go to Beer Camp. Sit around, killing Beers, just to watch them die.
Eating beanie weanies, freezing, not having to do anything he doesn't want to do...
An eating contest or a camping trip sound fun to be me but I'm not a man =).
One of the most fun bachelor parties I went to was in a fairly large city with a decent bar/restaurant area away from downtown, but any area with several different places to eat and drink would do. The guys got the bachelor a t-shirt that had a bunch of stuff he had to do during the night or tasks that he had to accomplish, almost like a bachelor scavenger hunt. Easy things included get 5 phone numbers written on the shirt, get 3 pieces of wedding night sex advice written on the shirt, and convince a girl to buy you a shot.
Some of the harder things were get a girl to whisper her fantasy in your ear, get flashed, etc. Etc. Of course we didn't complete them all, but we had a really fun time trying to accomplish the list and it kept the party going the whole night! We never had down time or a dull moment.
Also, you could tailor the shirt to the bachelor depending on what types of stuff you think he would enjoy, and just put those things on the shirt for him to complete. Good luck!
Reserve ample space in a really good restaurant and enjoy a good meal with good drink. Afterward, go to the track and bet the ponies.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
