My feathery ones are bored with their toys. Can you suggest some interesting new toys? They loved to rip up the pinata toys .
. . But haven't touched them in a few weeks.
I can't find the toys made from Ice Cream spoons - the wooden paddle type spoons . .. But I can't find them anymore. :-(What else would they like?

I think I may have found what you are looking for Check out this popsicle toy at Fun Time Birdy Perhaps an educational toy that will teach them something useful. Imagine coming home to a nice hot dinner. LOL!

You should change bird toys at least once a month There are various web sites to buy great toys from. The more complicated the better for a parrot. They love to 'unlock' toys were food is hidden inside.
Best is to have more than one toy inside ( or outside the cage ). Make sure they have one to tear apart as well. avianlove.com/category/Large_Parrot_Toys... parrottoysusa.com/index.php?main_page=in... Or get a play stand. It's nice for you to watch them playing on a play stand as well.. bird-supplies.net/play-stands.htm birdieplaystands.com/index.html Sources: Personal experience, vet friends .
Yes! I'd love to share.. Yes - birds are pretty funny things about their tyoys. We have a raven - "Mr Spock" - he steals EVERYTHING from us - (btw Mr spock shares our place with our five girls, cat, fish, and Parrokeet; whole stories there.) Keys, Dollar Bills, etc. I have found, that he really like little rubber "cat toys" we can buy at the local grocery store in the pet food aisle.... Mainly "balls" that come as little rubberspaghetti string type (about an inch round, so very small and fun).... Also little rubber/plastic hoops and chains are really fun for them too.
Mr spock has also taken to chasing a tennis ball around the kitchen - he can't quite hang on to it and so runs all over the place trying to get it (really funny stuff) anyway - I hope this is a good answer. And you can find Mr Spock on youtube. Sources: me Video This is Mom and Mr Spock .
3 aie, if your birds liked the wooden ice cream spoons, they should love colored popsicle sticks and/or tongue depressors. This site has parts so you can build your own toys, which is a fun hobby all in and of itself:superparrots.com/bird-parts-c-29.html?pa... sort of come in "types" - shredders, chewers, training toys. We try to keep at least one of each going, and ours seems to have changing interests, too.
Like yours, ours was crazy about the pinatas for a time. Then moved on to chewing for a bit. And since our bird watched us brush our teeth every morning, she developed a total fascination with toothbrushes.
I built her a toy consisting of several different colored toothbrushes for her perch in the bathroom. It's still a favorite and they are well chewed.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
