When you do feel the urge to dive head first into a gallon of caramel-infused nougat, instead search for a food that will satisfy your craving without doing the damage. For example, instead of French fries, have baked or roasted sweet potato fries. Instead of ice cream have kefir or yogurt with live culture or spore bacteria.
Replace those potato chips with baby carrots or celery sticks and go for grilled, baked, or roasted foods instead of fried ones. Put down that chocolate chip cookie and eat a 1/2 ounce of high-quality dark chocolate instead or eat air-popped popcorn instead of potato chips. Throw out that candy and have edamame beans.
You can also replace toffee or caramel with dried or cut up fruit and cheese doodles with low-fat string cheese. Lose the corn chips and eat some 100% whole grain pretzel sticks or celery sticks and cut up apples. And instead of store bought salad dressing try extra virgin olive oil and with vinegar or lemon juice.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
