What Are Some Holes In The Breastplate Of Righteousness?

There are three holes I want to cover. I don't want to dwell on the negative, but on the positive, on what God can do for us, in us and through us. You see, the Gospel is Good News and what God wants to do in and through us is VERY GOOD NEWS.

He doesn't want to beat us up for missing the mark. Instead He wants to empower us to "hit His mark" through His indwelling Holy Spirit. Let's look briefly at these three holes in righteousness... • Pride • Self-Righteousness • Unholiness • Pride, Arrogance and Thinking We Are Better Than Others PRIDE AND ARROGANCE: We know, from the Bible, that God does not like pride; Proverbs 15:25 The LORD tears down the proud man's house but he keeps the widow's boundaries intact.

Proverbs 16:5 The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. 1 Peter 5:5 All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
