You can start with prefolds. They are usually birdseye cloth or cotton that are folded in (thicker in the middle) thirds and you place baby on it as a soaker and you then apply a waterproof cover. One of the pros with this is the cover is reuseable immediately if it is not dirtied.
The cost is also much lower. A con would have to be the extra step that you have to take. Some children do not sit still for diaper changes.
If a caregiver is having to lay the pre-fold on the baby then grabbing a wrap, it can be difficult. An all-in-one is my favorite because it has the soaker sewn in, and it works just like a disposable. Snap on then snap off!
However, a con is that they take much longer to dry because they can be very thick. An all-in-two is a great alternative to an all-in-one. The AI2 (pocket) has the same basic construction, but the absorbant insert is not sewn in.
This makes washing and drying much easier and faster. The only real con that I have encountered is the absorbant pad may shift alot in an active baby; however, snaps or velcro can be applied to make them "stay put. "Flats are the true old fashioned diapers that are made of soft 100% birdseye cotton.
You pin and put on a waterproof cover. There are some moms who like to just use the "old-fashioned" cloth (fitted) and diaper the baby with it and then put on a wool outer pant that absorbs. It isn't water-proof; however, it is extremely water absorbant.
Washing and drying is an issue. Some babies may have reactions to the wool. Another thought is the materials being used.
The inner lining that touches the baby can be made of suede cloth or a wicking fleece. There are other materials that can be used but these are the most popular. Flannel has been used, but it tends to hold moisture next to the baby which can allow a diaper rash to develop.
A growing trend is to use organic material. I do not see a real advantage to these. The cost is much higher than a traditional non-organic diaper.
The one-size diapers fold down and can normally fit babies from 8-35 or 40lbs. They are great!. At first they cost a bit more, but that is only a one-tiime charge.
A slight disadvantage is a newborn might still need an even smaller size especially if the newborn has skinny legs. I hope this helps. If not or you would like more specific information as in brands, let me know!
I could go on and on for hours!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
