Dayton Ohio is a great place for taking your family to for vacation, or even if you are going by yourself for a relaxing get0away. They have many fun amuesement parks, and great hotels to stay in.
There are so many things to do in Chicago! During the day, go downtown to the Loop where you’ll find tourist sites like Navy Pier, the campus museum which includes the Art Institute, Field Museum, Planetarium, Aquarium, and the Institute of Science and Industry. There are many colleges and universities downtown who showcase student work and visiting artists in their own galleries among professional galleries scattered about.
There’s also the Magnificent Mile, the Theatre District, Water Tower Place, and a sidewalk that runs alongside Lake Shore Drive and the Michigan lake waterfront. At night, places tend to close earlier in this area, but if you go to the north side of Chicago around neighborhoods like Lincoln Park, Old Town, Wrigleyville (to name a few), the fun doesn’t have to end. There are many fringe theatres in these neighborhoods where you can see up and coming talent, hole in the wall comedy clubs, and then the established places like Second City, iO, and the Annoyance producing original comedy and improvisation.
There is a lot of theme restaurants and bars. When I lived in Chicago, I would check www.timeoutchicago.com for a lot of these events. Sometimes even bars would hold cultural events like lectures about science or theatre.
There’s just so much to see and experience. It’s chilly and windy but it can be so much fun. I recommend these sites to learn more about what Chicago has to offer the disabled.
Museums and Universities are highly handicapped accessible. To make specific arrangements, all welcome phones calls to inquire! http://www.accessliving.org/ http://www.disabledtravelers.com/blog/2010/01/26/disabled-access-chicago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
