What are some organic, homemade fertilizers for a vegetable garden?

Ciao! This is a great idea..depending on the size of your lot...you need to set aside space for your own compost heap. First you need the containers to store fertiliser.

Depends on your taste, it could be any plastic container that is food grade...its better that it is deep rather than wide. Then...you need to collect your plant scraps for this project...they tend to be not so smelly. Then you also buy or get saw dust or buy some soil suited for the plants.

Every time you add something to compost heap you need to cover it with soil... you really need fertilisers per se...you need fertile soil. So...creating your own compost is the only natural way to fertilise your soil. It takes several months depending on what kind of weather you have.... with the new soil...you can then mix it with your planting beds when your starting to prep the soil.

Left over food and things that can be easily decompose would do better in the compost you are making this will serve as your organic fertilizer dig a deep hole and put those left overs there and put another layer of soil just do this procedure everytime you want to add leftovers after several months the soil from the compose can be used as a fertilzer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
