Welcome to the Mile IT is truly one of the prettiest places in the states and not only a great place to live, but a great place to visit. Pending on when you come, you will have options as to what to see, but they will differ in regards to the time of year. For instance, the Botanic Gardens might not be a great idea in the winter, but in the summer, they're great.
If you're sticking specifically to Denver and staying away from the Mountains, Boulder, CO, and even Colorado Springs, CO (all within a 100 miles of the city, by the way, and worth the drive), I'd stick to the city specifically, and head to Lodo. You will find plenty of restaurants, art galleries, and shopping. During the summer, you may catch an art show, on the streets of the Denver Pavilions, and if it's spring time, take in a game by heading to Coors Field to see the hometown Colorado Rockies.
You will also want to tour the Golden Triangle area just to the south of The 16th Street Mall, here you will find more restaurants and shopping as well as the State Capital and for the knowledge seekers The Denver Mint. Take the tour, it's fun and you'll learn a thing or two. For more ideas check out - http://www.denver.org/.
What’s one of the nice things about Columbus is there is something for anyone. If you’re into art, make sure to check out the Columbus Museum of Art. In addition, the Short North is a vibrant neighborhood full of budding artists.
There are galleries and shops throughout the area. COSI is a great science museum with plenty of hands on activities for children. They have IMAX movies and great exhibits.
If you’re a sports fanatic, take in a Columbus Blue Jackets game. They play in Nationwide Arena, which is in the heart of downtown. If you come to Columbus in the fall, make sure to check out an Ohio State football game.
It’s a fall staple in Columbus. Columbus offers a plentiful amount of shopping. There’s Easton, which is a combo indoor/outdoor mall.
Polaris Fashion Place also offers man shops including anchor stores Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy’s. For dining, make sure to check out Schmidt’s in German Village. They offer the best in German cuisine.
For a great burger, check out Thurman Café. For information on the latest events and for more information on visiting Columbus, please visit: http://www.experiencecolumbus.com.
Detroit has a lot of great places for tourists or visitors to see. If you like to be outdoors and the Detroit weather is nice during your visit, you should definitely check out the Detroit International Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is along the Detroit River and has a variety of events such as Detroit Freedom Festival in July throughout the year.
If you enjoy indoor educational activities, you can visit one of the several museums in the Detroit area. The Detroit Science Center is a great place for adults and kids to visit scientific exhibits and participate in fun group activities. For a night on the town, you can hit the bars in downtown Detroit or attend a live concert at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.
You can visit the City of Detroit website at http://www.detroitmi.gov.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
