What are the 10 most debilitating mental illnesses in order of severity? What makes one worse than the other?

I can give you 10 of the worst mental illnesses to deal with, but it's impossible to categorize each in a pretty box and place one ahead of the another. Each persons own experience of these illnesses can be horrific and life destroying. In the top end of the list I would put Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Traumatic stress disorder and Obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia should be on the list too. From Schizophrenia you can branch out into Borderline personality disorder or some other anti-social disorder. Any Addiction or Anxiety disorder can be tame or severe and life threatening.So this question cannot easily be listed and dissected.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
