I'd recommend going with a local micro-roaster here in L.A. It's what we use in our Saeco - all the fancy flavored coffees have sticky crud in them that clogs up the internal grinder after a while (and all the purists point out that the big coffee roasters use the worst, most rancid beans in their flavored coffees, since those are the ones that won't sell any other way). The difference between your average Starbucks/Peets and a fresh, local roasted coffee done in small batches by someone who actually *cares* about his product is huge. To extend the shelf-life of the mass-produced coffees, the roaster has to use preservatives that cause the oils in the bean to harden into a whitish crust.
You don't notice it, really, until you compare it to local & fresh, which is shiny & kinda slick-looking. I'd recommend the guy at Alana's Roasting (I get nothing from this plugola). The email is alanasroasting&yahoo.Com and you can see other reviews of them at yelp.com/biz/alanas-coffee-roasting-culv... I like the Bolivian & Mexican Nariño ... strong, but not bitter or acidy.
All organic & fair trade, BTW.
Honolulu Coffee Company has some of the best Kona coffee beans. One pound of Pure Kona Peaberry is $39.75. I used to watch the original owner personally roast the beans in his coffee shop at Ala Moana Shopping Center.
He would do this everyday so you had the freshest possible coffee here. However, he recently sold his shops although he still roasts the beans, but now it is off site. Duenhsiyen.
Well, if I had some extra, I'd send you some of mine. Sorry. I wonder if the sites that sell the machines know what kind of beans are best.
I see that one site; 1stincoffee.com/jura-impressa-c5.htm is selling illy coffee beans with the machine. This is the Amazon page for those beans. amazon.com/Illy-Roasted-Coffee-Beans-8-8... on the other hand, they sell the Saeco witth "one pound of beans."
I'm not that much of a connoisseur but I like pure Kona coffee beans better than my own.
I believe best coffee beans are those that don’t consist of harmful fertilizers or chemicals. For me, I prefer certified organic coffee considering its huge advantages include the following: • Organic coffee does not include any synthetics or chemicals. €¢ Organic coffee tastes better.
€¢ The way it is grown prevents environmental pollution. €¢ The farming of organic coffee encourages sustainability. €¢ Organic coffee is full of antioxidants, which prevents many diseases.
€¢ Organic coffee allows you to lose weight and eliminate toxins from body. Organic coffee offers not only benefits to consumers but also farmers and environment. Have a healthy life.

Ethiopia Sahara Yemen Mocha like as Seoul, but also "hand" produced coffee.
I have yet to find anything better than Stumptown coffee. stumptowncoffee.com/coffees They have a variety of coffees and work hard to ensure that they come only from the best plantations around the world. Before I had Stumptown I did not know what good coffee was.
There is also a newer coffee roster in Portland, OR that is getting rave reviews and might be even better called Trailhead coffee, but it doesn't appear you can order online yet. trailheadcoffeeroasters.com/ If you are serious about getting the best coffee the best thing I can recommend is visiting portland for your next vacation and hitting up all the artisan roasters.
I absolutely *adore* coffee, and after drinking all kinds of different coffee, flavored or not, the very best is the 100% Kona French Roast whole bean coffee, from Lions Coffee Company on the Big Island or other wise known as the island of Hawaii. It is fabulous! lioncoffee.com/whole-bean-coffee.html Hugs!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
