What are the best option for cloth diaper wipes?

You can usually find them for sale on eBay. Otherwise it's fairly easy to make your own from fleece that has been cut into an 8X10 size, or whatever size you prefer.

My sis-in-law uses those thin cleaning cloths (like for wetting down and wiping a sink, but not a sponge). You can buy them at the cleaning aisle of the supermarket in most countries (I can't remember the brand name in the US... but they have narrow pale blue and white stripes... made of some material that doesn't fray). They come in packs of about 4-8 large cloths and she cuts each one into maybe 4-ish smaller ones for use as baby wipes.

They launder fine and dry quickly (I also used this exact same system for awhile with my oldest child, in fact - just dampen the dry cloth with water from a squeeze bottle and use cloth to wipe baby. I stacked mine up in a cute basket next to baby's change table, and then each one would go into the laundry basket after use). The advantage is that they are very cheap and easy to create.

If some get too stained through the wash after years of use, you can always throw those ones out then and make a few more. Hope this helps... if you are interested in this let me know and I can try to look up the brand next time I'm in the supermarket.

I just wrote a hub about how to make cloth diaper wipes and how to use them. Check it out:hubpages.com/hub/Green-Baby-How-to-Make-... hope this helps!

Trying to be extremely cheap, why not cut up some old towels. I used them and they actually worked better than any other wipes.

Thanks for the tips! Karen - fleece is a great idea. I'm sure that would be very soft on the baby's skin!

It seems as if it is a hassle to have cloth diapers over disposable ones. I'm kind of getting a late start to cloth diapers. I was wondering if anyone makes their own homemade baby wash.

I bough some Zorb fabric from Wazoodle. WHERE CAN I FIND PLASTIC DIAPER COVERS? I DONT KNOW WHERE TO EVEN FIND CLOTH DIAPERS TO GET TO THEM MY 14 MO.

OLD WETS THE BED...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
