What are the best options for vegetarian food in Barcelona, Spain?

I can't make any personal recommendations for Barcelona, but I do have some general thoughts on eating vegetarian in Spain and in Europe generally. European countries vary a lot in how veggie-friendly they are, partly depending on how meat-based the local cuisine is.

Spain is one place where while there is a cetain amount vegetarian tapas, and some egg based dishes (if you eat eggs) the choice is not that great. In countries like Spain where the native cuisine is not very veggie friendly, the way to get a good meal is to seek out international and ethnic places. International pizza chains for example always have veggie options wherever you go, as do the restaurants in international class hotels.

And Indian, Oriental and Middle Eastern places also have very good veggie choices. It might seem odd to go to Spain and eat Lebanese, Italian and Indian, but if you're a veggie those may be the best meals you can get. You'll notice there are quite a few of those kind of places listed on the site I mentioned.

Btw. If you eat eggs, there's always the famous Spanish Omlette, either in tapas or larger form. But even if you love it, you won't want it every day!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
