What are the best places near Austin, TX for weekend backpacking trips?

I'm looking for locations where I can head out Friday night/Saturday morning, hike all day, camp out, then hike out on Sunday. Most of the places near Austin (Enchanted Rock, Bastrop State Park) have fairly short trails. Places with reliable water supplies for filtering would be great!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
