The North End of Boston is a great place to spend a day when visiting the area. The area has its roots from before the Revolutionary War and like New York was flooded with immigrants during the 1800’s. Some of the most popular attractions in the North End include the Paul Revere House at 19 North Square.
This is where the famed Silversmith worked and the site from where he took his famous “midnight ride. € The Old North Church and the Mariner’s House are two other famous attractions in the area. At the beginning of the North End are the world famous Faneuil Hall and the Holocaust Museum.
Not far from the North End is the beginning of the Freedom Trail,, which is a walking tour of Boston’s famous historical sites. Also nearby is the USS Constitution where you can take tours of “Old Ironsidesâ€. The North End is also the home of Boston’s Little Italy.
