What are the best wines for a beginner?

I mean just the plain lemonade like Sprite, that has very little flavor. When you buy wine, don't spend too much on it, if it's a red, choose one where it mentions good fruity flavors on the label and if it's a white don't buy dry or sweet, just medium. When you pour some for yourself, top it up with lemonade, try just a little, you can always add more if it tastes too strong If you like it, try reducing the amount of lemonade bit by bit.

Although, it really doesn't matter if you prefer to drink wine that way, if you enjoy it, that's all that's important. Here in Spain, children are allowed the odd glass of wine diluted this way, they seem to grow up with a better awareness of alcohol as a result, as it is no novelty to them. Another idea is to try sparkling wine, it doesn't have to be champagne, there are some much cheaper and highly drinkable alternatives like Asti Spumante or cava.

Most people like sparkling wine even if they don't enjoy the other kinds.

The best wine for a beginner or an experienced wine drinker is the one that they like. All people have different tastes and you have to shop around and sample and find the ones that you like.

To me the best wines for beginners are wines that are medium bodied, not too tannic, and have a moderate alcohol level, nothing over 14%. In terms of reds, I would try a Pinot Noir from Burgundy or Oregon, a Garnacha from Spain, or a Cotes du Rhone blend from France. In terms of whites, I would try a dry Riesling from Austria or Alsace or a citrusy Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley or Chile.

These are all very crowd pleasing categories that would make a great entry point into the world of wine for a beginner.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
