Again many! Ecowarm has many sequencing advantages in addition to its significantly lower cost. Ecowarm is applied to the subfloor only to where it is needed, not under counters or other unheated areas.
Usually that means Ecowarm is applied to about 80% of a sub-floor. Since Warmboard is the subfloor it typically decks the whole house. Even accounting for the fact that Warmboard is the subfloor and the tubing channel, it is an expensive product!
And the With Warmboard tubing must go in early and be protected throughout the building sequence. Ecowarm can be applied much later in the job with less issues regarding protecting the tubing throughout building. Ecowarm does not have to be specified early in the job, so it can be added for a customer who decides later in a project to add radiant heat.
Since Ecowarm is not a bonded structural panel like Warmboard where the metal must be stamped and bonded to wood to form a structurally strong composite panel, the thickness of the metal layer ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
