There are mild and severe flu shot side effects. The mild side effects are: soreness, redness, or swelling on the site where the shot was given, hoarseness, sore, red or itchy eyes; cough, fever and aches. If these symptoms occur they begin soon after the shot and last 1-2 days.
On the other hand, sever flu shot side effects: * Life-threatening allergic reactions from vaccines are very rare and if they do occur it usually happen within a few minutes to a few hours after the shot * in 1976, a type of influenza vaccine was associated with GBS or Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Since then flu vaccines have not been clearly linked to GBS. If there is a risk of it from current flu vaccines it is very low.It would be no more than 1 or 2 cases per million people vaccinated.
If there are any unusual conditions like high fever or changes in behavior then you should call a doctor. Signs of severe allergic reaction are difficulty breathing, hoarseness or wheezing, hives, paleness, weakness, and fast heartbeat and dizziness should be immediately reported to the doctor. Inform the doctor what happened and the time and date it happened as well as the time date when vaccination was given.
The vacinations cause soreness at the injection spot. I get flu shots every year and you end up with a runny nose, sore throat, tiredness and/or weakness and sometimes headaches. You almost feel as if the flu is coming on but it goes away in a couple of days.
And of course there are people allegic to it and it could kill you.
I haven’t gotten my flu shot this year, but I received both the flu shot and the H1N1 vaccine last year without any side effects. Some people think that there is a chance that you can get the flu when you get the flu shot, but the vaccine they are injecting is inactivated, so there is no chance you can get the flu. Other side effects include soreness at the point of injection, fever, and muscle aches. In very rare instances, some people will have an allergic reaction to the vaccine.
The side effects are fairly similar if you get the Flumist (with the addition of the possibility of a runny nose) even though the vaccine in that case is a live vaccine. In all the cases when I have had the flu shot, the most serious side effect that I have had is just a little muscle soreness which I think more than offsets for the benefits of the shot.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
