What are the most appealing things about USC to prospective students?

USC is a highly competitive university located in South Central Los Angeles. The university has great school spirit for students who are interested in sports, as the university has a few highly regarded teams, making you officially a USC Trojan for life. According to students I spoke to when visiting the campus, USC has a lot of school pride, and most of the students who attend love it there, and every aspect of the college experience.

Students at USC are not just academics, they work hard and play hard. Walking around the campus, you'll enjoy a very nice flat land campus, so if you're not one who likes to climb, yet rather likes to ride a bike, then USC would be a good fit for you. There is a lot one can study at the university, as it has one of the most highly competitive and respective academic programs of study.

Some well known programs include majors in computer science, engineering, journalism, business, and film studies. I'm sure there are many other majors that USC offers, as well as it has a well established graduate school the Marshall School of Business. USC has a lot to offer to its incoming freshman students.

What interesting about USC is the quad it has in the middle of the campus, and you'll typically find students socializing and playing sports (ie. Tag football or frisbee) in this area, which surrounds the academic buildings where students can sit in the shaded areas to study. Near the academic buildings you'll find a full bike rack, and lots of USC students tend to bike around campus.

If you own a bike, you'll fit in, and even if you own a car, there's a great parking garage as you enter the campus, yet it's more likely you'll be riding a bike around the campus, as most classes are a bike ride away. From talking with students at USC, you experience a large student body (10,000+ undergrads), as well as it's located in a large city. Most students do not interact with the professors, yet rather they talk to the TA's, and most of the TA's know the students in the classes.

From perusing the campus, you'll find a lot of diversity and international students who attend USC. Your classmates may be from another country, and don't be surprised if your classmates did not speak English as their first language. Some reasons you might like USC: 1.

Excellent School Pride 2. Ghly Regarded and Competitive Academics 3. Strong Sports Teams and Athletic Programs 4.

Well Rounded Academic Programs 5. Diversity (the international student population is large with 9.1% undergrads international and 24.7% grad students international) 6. Strong Clubs and Student Organizations 7.

Students are Overachievers (Most all USC students were in the top of their high school graduating class with an average GPA being a 3.8) 8. Greek Life, the university has a party scene and Greek life, a place known as "The Row" where students hang out. 9.

USC students live active lifestyles 10. Sunny California Weather.

Think about it you are in sunny California home of Disneyland, USC Football and beaches. What more can you ask for?

Pretty girls and the warm weather. And everyone enjoys a good party.

The most appealing things about usc to prospective students are (without quotes):.

USC has some of the top programs in the country, most notably the medical and pharmacy schools, as well as acclaimed programs in physical therapy and occupational therapy, which were ranked 1 and 3 by U.S. News & World Report. The Keck School of Medicine is the largest department at the University of Southern California. It is a major center of medical research, education and patient care that was established in 1885.

The department ranks 8th in ophthalmology, 16th in urology, 20th in neurosurgery and neurology, 28th in pulmonology, 29th in gynecology, and 31st in orthopedics in the U.S.. U.S. News and World Report ranks the department at 34 in research among the top 135 U.S.Medical schools. The school also has 15 highly regarded programs, each led by a dean, including the USC Leventhal School of Accounting, USC School of Architecture, USC Marshall School of Business, USC School of Cinematic Arts, USC Annenberg School for Communication, USC School of Dentistry, USC Rossier School of Education, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, USC Roski School of Fine Arts, USC Davis School of Gerontology, USC Gould School of Law, USC Thornton School of Music, USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development, USC School of Social Work, and USC School of Theatre. Although the University of Southern California is located in the South Central Los Angeles area, which is known for its poverty and crime rates, the campus itself is safe.

Also, the school became increasingly diverse in the 1990s, with a growing regional and ethnic student body. USC also ranks highly as one of the country’s most gay-friendly schools.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
