Photography is a great hobby for retired people. Most people already have a digital camera. If not, entry level digital cameras are very reasonably priced.

For those that become serious about the hobby, more camera gear can be acquired as their hobby grows. Wildlife photography is an exciting hobby. It can be as simple as photographing animals like birds, squirrels and insects that visit the backyard.

Or, it can be more involved, becoming the focus of trips around the state, country, or even the world. When getting started with a photography hobby, it is good to learn as much as possible. Take a beginning photography course at a local college to learn the basics of photography.

Read photography books about different types of photography. Visit forums and ask questions. Join online groups like Flickr for photo critiques.

All of these will help develop and hone your photography skills.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
