What are the most effective ways to promote a product or service on the beach? How would you promote a website service?

Here's a simple, quick idea that you could combine with some of the other great ideas already provided. Write your website in the sand! Use rocks to really make it stick out.

This will really catch people's attention!

Having worked with a marketing team in the past I have several ideas but the prices vary. Here goes: Promotional Paper handheld fans ( about .28 each for 5000) Flying Disc (Frisbee) about .59 each (plus a set up fee for your logo or web info) Plastic cups about .34 cents for 2500 (plus a set up fee) Balloons about .12 each for 5000 Rubber bracelets/ armbands (about .29 cents each for about 10,000) Keep in mind the prices of promo items will vary depending on the company you select. If you just need some cheap promos check www.

Oriental trading.Com they offer imprinting on some of their items. Another idea is to buy a bulk of beach balls and use a laundry marker or paint marker to write you web address on the ball then toss walk around tossing out the beach balls to sunbathers. Buy a fairly inexpensive beach umbrella and use paint markers or laundry marker to print your web/ business info (large enough to read from several feet away).

Set it up at an angle in the sand so everyone can read it as they walk by. Just remember to add a beach towel and a few other items to make it look like you are sunbathing there all day. The type of website service you are offering will determine how to promote it.

Hope this helps.

At a recent visit to the beach, I saw a company being advertised via an Airplane Banner Ad: nationalskyads.com/banners.html.

Nobody will ever ever turn down free ice cream!

All the ideas so far sound great. I would also print up really cool fliers, with a reason to go home and "check out" your site. For example, maybe by going home and visiting your site they get a printable coupon for your product (once they get onto the actual site).

Maybe the flier states they get a cool free ring tone by visiting. Maybe you are holding some type of contest, etc.

Print up fliers and put beautiful girls in skimpy bikinis to hand them out. Or if it's a women based product have men hand them out. Of course the men would be the model type in a skimpy swimsuit not a bikini.

Firstly, I think the website needs to be specific to the beach mentality if you are going to promote it there. For instance, you wouldn't promote, "Stylish business suits at discount prices! " when all people are thinking about is taking their clothes off and swimming.Be sure that the mindset of your audience is going to be tuned-in to your message.

With that said, I can think of several ways you could promote your service or product on the beach. If you are promoting a product you could pass out product samples to beach goers or give away prodcuts that have the company branding on them. * One of the best ways would be to set up an informational booth where people could talk to a representative.

They could also get product samples and you can collect their contact information for promotional mailers. * Beach towels with product name and slogan. * Flexible foam sun-visors (hat) with product/company name.

* Beach umbrellas with product/company name. * Ice chests with product/company lid. * Surf-board decals with product/company name.

* Frisbees with product/company name, everyone loves frisbee on the beach! * Beach balls with product/company name. * Smash ball paddles with product/company name.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
