The tunnels under the Western Wall in Jerusalem are the most interesting The nearby excavations and museum (close to the Dung Gate) are a close second Then, the City of David, just outside the city walls, across from Dung Gate Outside of Jerusalem, Masada, overlooking the Dead Sea, is fantastic for its views as well as the extensive excavations.
